Service Description
The path to the Vice President for Student Affairs (VPSA) position has become increasingly competitive – institutions seek leaders who demonstrate strategic thinking, executive presence, political acumen, financial stewardship, crisis leadership, and the ability to contribute as members of the president’s cabinet. Thousands of qualified candidates are vying for a small number of executive positions. While existing workshops and seminars focus on leadership skills, none address how to navigate the executive search process. ASCEND: The Institute for Aspiring Vice Presidents for Student Affairs™ fills that gap. ASCEND bridges this gap by offering a structured, high-touch experience focused on executive positioning, career decision-making, professional branding, and interview mastery. Through a cohort-based model limited to ten participants, aspiring vice presidents gain practical tools, individualized feedback, and peer support to navigate the executive search process with greater confidence and clarity.
